About the artist:
I’ve been working with glass in one form or another since 1975. I began in Pittsburgh PA serving an apprenticeship at a studio where I learned how to design, build and restore leaded stained glass panels.
During the summer of 1980 I learned to blow glass at Penland School of Crafts under the direction of Fritz Dreisbach.I learned glass fusing and slumping at The Steinert School of Glass, Kent Ohio, which eventually led me to obtain a couple of kilns to develop my line of kiln formed glass.
Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of creating glassworks collaborating with various clients; architects, designers, church groups, school groups, community groups, business owners, homeowners and friends.My most recent artistic iteration is My Studio 5, a private art space where I work, explore, and listen to great music.
About the pieces below:
The clear, textured glass in each piece shown for sale, is vintage and came from windows that were removed from a local church in Sharon, PA.
